The Memorial of Grace

The gospel transforms lives—from Lydia, a wealthy merchant, to a trafficked slave girl, to a Roman jailer. Discover how being “poor in spirit” opens the door to becoming “rich in grace,” and how the early church’s diversity and sacrifice mirror the call of today’s church. True riches are found in Christ alone. Sermon preached by Peter Tepper on 25 May 2025 at St Peter the Fisherman, New Smyrna Beach, FL.

Filled with Love

When Jesus promised his disciples that they would receive the Holy Spirit, he promised this gift to the eager, to the unlikely, to the unworthy, to the unknowing, and even the resistant. The purpose of the fullness of the Spirit was to unite God and humanity again, restoring our relationship, and empowering us for love and service. Text: Acts 11:1-18 Sermon preached on 18 May 2025 by Peter Tepper at St Peter the Fisherman.
