Jesus is Principal Now

Who is the gatekeeper in your life? Who is it that holds sway? Whose opinion is the one that most drives your life? The Ascension teaches us that Jesus is on the throne now. The risen, embodied Lord now fully holds all authority in heaven. This is why the Ascension is such a comfort in the midst of life’s anxieties.
